(“Webemerg”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides fully managed website services, including design, development, hosting, maintenance, and built-in CRM/email capabilities according to your selected plan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our website, client portal, subscription services, and related tools (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Who We Are

Webemerg is a website design and development provider offering fully managed websites for U.S.-based businesses. We are not a full-service marketing agency. Our Services include managed site creation and upkeep, site-integrated CRM features, on-page SEO best practices, and plan-specific enhancements. Payments are processed via Stripe only.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account & Contact Data: name, business name, email, phone, billing address.
  • Project Content: text, images, videos, logos, brand assets, product/service info you supply for your website.
  • CRM & Email Data: audience lists you import or collect on your site, tags/segments, campaign metadata, and message content sent via your dashboard.
  • Support & Communications: messages, requests, and form submissions within the client portal or email.
  • Payment: payment method and transaction info handled by Stripe (we do not store full card details).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and time on site.
  • Cookies & Similar Tech: to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance.
  • Website Performance: uptime, error logs, security events relevant to hosting your site.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide & Manage the Services: create and maintain your website, host content, implement features per your plan, and support your account.
  • Site & CRM Operations: process form submissions, manage audience data you collect, send emails you initiate via your dashboard, and provide plan-specific CRM features.
  • On-Page SEO & Improvements: implement SEO best practices and enhance site performance.
  • Security & Integrity: monitor for abuse, prevent fraud, and protect accounts and infrastructure.
  • Billing & Administration: process payments with Stripe, send receipts, and manage subscriptions.
  • Service Communications: send important notices about your project, account, or changes to the Services.
  • Analytics: evaluate and improve our Services and user experience.

4. CRM & Email Features (Scope by Plan)

Webemerg includes a built-in CRM and email capabilities within your dashboard; features vary by plan and are intended for site-related communications—not agency-operated marketing programs.

  • Starter Spark: Simple CRM setup to capture contact form leads and send welcome emails.
  • Business Boost: Tagging, segmentation, and email newsletter broadcasts from your dashboard.
  • Premium Pulse: Advanced automations, sequences, and behavior tracking within your CRM.
  • Elite Evolution: Full-featured CRM with custom workflows, campaign analytics, and smart lead management.

Your Responsibilities: You control the content you send, the lists you import/collect, and the timing of any campaigns through your dashboard. You are responsible for obtaining valid consent, honoring unsubscribe requests, and complying with applicable laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA, state privacy laws). We provide technical configuration and support for included features; we do not operate or manage campaigns as an agency service unless separately agreed in writing.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and analyze performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

6. How We Share Information

  • Service Providers: hosting, domain registrars, CDN, email/CRM infrastructure, analytics, client portal, and support tools—used to operate and support the Services.
  • Payment Processing: Stripe processes payments and stores necessary billing details. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Legal & Safety: to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Webemerg, our clients, and users.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain account, project, and operational records for as long as you maintain an active subscription and as needed to provide the Services. If your subscription ends or is canceled, we retain your website’s data for up to 30 days for potential reactivation; after that, it is permanently deleted from our systems, including backups (see our Terms of Service for details). Certain billing or legal records may be retained as required by law.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including SSL, access controls, and server-level protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Services at your own risk. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

9. Your Choices & Rights

  • Access & Update: update account and project details through your dashboard or by contacting support.
  • Email Preferences: unsubscribe from non-essential emails via the link in the message; service-critical messages may still be sent while you are a subscriber.
  • Data Requests: request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain certain data as required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us to request deletion.

11. International Visitors

Webemerg serves U.S.-based businesses. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. “Do Not Track” & State Privacy Notices

Our Services do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights. If you are a resident of a state with privacy laws granting access, deletion, or opt-out rights, you may exercise those by contacting us. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, for active clients, communicated through your client portal or email. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
